Matagi Programmes

Matagi offers mindfulness workshops for groups and coaching sessions for individuals. The workshops and one-to-one coaching sessions are conducted by Mathew Plappally. Over the past 12 years, Mathew has led Mindfulness workshops, retreats and one-to-one coaching sessions in India, Europe & NZ. Mindfulness in the Workplace: We bring the benefits of mindfulness at work to employees through workshops, courses and weekly mindfulness sessions. Mindfulness practice cultivates a more creative and stress-free workplace.
There are three programs we offer in the workplace:
1. Introduction to Mindfulness – Two-hour workshop.
2. Mindfulness Course - Two-hour workshop + 3 weekly one-hour sessions.
3. One-to-one Coaching: One-hour sessions.

Mindfulness in Your Daily Life: The program focuses on mindful meditation, mindful yoga and spiritual dialogue. Mindfulness meditation involves the process of developing the skill of bringing one's attention to whatever is happening in the present moment. Mindful yoga is a slow and conscious movement, synchronized with the breathing - meditation on movement. Spiritual dialogue is an investigation into the self that you are conscious of and the ultimate reality in which you are conscious of the self.

Realizing Your True Self: Jobs come and go, physical beauty fades, markets rise and fall. Even close relationships can end. But the benefits of realizing your true self last for your lifetime. This MatAgi workshop offers time-tested principles that lead to freedom and sustainable happiness. Mathew Plappally: I am Indian born, New Zealand citizen; my wife Agi is a native of Poland. We taught the wisdom of mindfulness meditation, mindful yoga and non-dual spirituality for ten years in our Homestay Retreat in Kerala, India and conducted workshops in Europe. I have worked for 12 years in the IT/Finance industry in Auckland and have the first-hand experience of stress in the workplace. Through Matagi Mindfulness programmes I give tools to cope with stress and to achieve work-life balance.
