Matagi Mundax offers Mindfulness workshops for groups and Mindful Life coaching sessions for individuals. The workshops and one-to-one coaching sessions are conducted by Mathew Plappally. Over the past 12 years, Mathew has led Mindfulness workshops, retreats and one-to-one coaching sessions in India, Europe & NZ. ABOUT

Mathew Plappally: Mathew has been practising mindfulness and meditation for over 30 years. He has completed the 8-week MBSR course and studied mindfulness under the guidance of renowned monks in the Mahabodhi Meditation centre in Ladakh and Tushitha Mediation centre in Dharamsala both located in the Himalayan region of India. He is also a certified Mindful Yoga teacher.

He and his wife Aggie taught the wisdom of mindfulness meditation, mindful yoga and non-dual spirituality for ten years in their Homestay Retreat in Kerala, India and conducted workshops in Europe. Mathew has worked for 12 years in the IT/Finance industry in Auckland and has the first-hand experience of stress in the workplace. Through Matagi Mindfulness programmes he gives tools to cope with stress and to achieve work-life balance.

Mathew is a cancer survivor. He went through chemotherapy, radiotherapy and a surgery as part of his treatment. Mindfulness and Meditation practice helped him to cope with stress and pain during this challenging period of time. He uses his own experience to help people with serious illness walk through their healing journey.
